Over and under watering are the most common causes of household plant death. This lightweight unit helps eliminate the guess work in plant watering. Not only useful for potted plants, hanging baskets and window boxes, it's great for monitoring soil moisture content for low water succulents and seasonally dormant plants. Keep track of lawn conditions by minimizing over watering of ground covers and turf areas. An invaluable, inexpensive tool for every plant lover. Comes with simple plant care guidelines. Meter face varies from time to time, depending on production batch. This device may also be utilized to gauge the moisture content of compost piles, food digesters, and vermiculture systems, so that optimum parameters can be maintained.
The dual probe unit ( Mini PH/Moisture Tester- picture not shown) will additionally test the acidity and alkalinity of your soil. Front switch allows convenient switching between "moisture" and "pH". The dual metal probes are 5 1/2" - slightly shorter than its counterpart.
All units test within 1/2 point + or - accuracy
The 4-in-1 Electronic Analizer ( picture not shown) features 3 probes that allow you to measure soil pH, soil moisture, light intensity, and total combined N-P-K (soil fertility).
NOTES ON CARE: Never place probes directly in water. Dry well and wipe clean after usage, and before storing away (minimizes oxidation). Keep probes away from metal objects.
